Leading experts discussed how best to manage chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), in educational activities at the recent 2018 annual meeting of the Multinational Association of Supportive Cancer Care (MASCC) and the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO).
The Ology team organized and managed a 1.5-hour satellite symposium during the MASCC/ISOO meeting, which was held in Vienna, Austria, from 28-30 June. In this symposium, entitled ‘ Taking control of CINV: update and perspectives on antiemetic use and strategies’ experts from France, Serbia, and the Czech Republic discussed the need to improve adherence to guidelines on the use of antiemetics to control CINV, recent therapeutic advances in the field, and practical opportunities for optimizing patient care.
An on-demand webcast based on the CINV symposium, complete with a downloadable transcript and slides from the expert presentations, will be hosted by Wolters Kluwer, a leading medical publisher, on http://www.cinvupdate.com.
The Ology team will be at specialist meetings throughout 2018, providing a wide range of interactive educational events.
